What is The Onyx Method?
We are two-fold:
1 | We support Pilates and Fitness Instructors with choreography that is innovative and well-structured. It offers a variety of pre-designed classes, creative movement patterns, and instructional resources to help instructors craft engaging and effective Pilates sessions.
2 | We offer in-home workouts and plans that allow individuals to tailor their workouts to their specific needs and goals. We emphasize form, correct muscle firing, and functional biomechanics. With a focus on overall health, including mental and emotional aspects, The Onyx Method promotes sustainable lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes, fostering long-term success in your fitness journey.
What and how we teach is unique.
1 / Form
We cue where your body should be in space and how to position your spine in order to have the best form to prevent injuries.
2 / Fire
We teach you which muscles are supposed to fire while you are moving so that you begin to learn and understand the body and bring awareness to how each muscle should function.
3 / Functional Biomechanics
We move in ways that emulate daily life activities so that it will enhance your quality of life - not just for today - but truly for the rest of your life.
